Hello, I'm Hugo!

I was born on November 1st, 2019 in the Kennel of Muna  (www.of-muna.ch) as the 3rd of a total of 8 siblings (by the way, I was "Mr. Green"). At the beginning of January 2020 I moved into my "Forever Home" and since then I have been a loyal companion to "Fraui", my dogmum, who most people call Yvonne. On 2. April 2023 I was awarded "life long stud dog" from the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club Switzerland  "Very elegant appearance with an excellent head, very beautiful color and a beautiful nature." "Rather a calm male who lets himself be guided through the course and takes note of the situations." - such nice things were written in my assessment! And I got 10 out of 10 points for my Ridge!

But believe me: I'm anything else than calm when someone who doesn't show me the necessary respect invades my territory without permission! Then I can get really grumpy! And sometimes I just feel like doing nonsense: My head narrows, you see the white in my eyes and then there's no way to stop me from fooling around! Just as quickly as these crazyness comes, it goes by. And then I'm a passionate lap dog again: There's nothing I love more than to cuddle on the sofa with my family! In addition to Fraui it includes my dogdad Artur and my two human bros Ari and Mika, who are 15 and 16 years older than me. So I'm kind of the latecomer, being pampered accordingly! We live in the country, on the edge of a huge forest, which I know inside out: If you run 15 km every day, you'll get far, I tell you! As much as I love my homeland, I like to discover new territories:  I love to travel and am very open to new places and people. And of course open for the ladies: I have quite a few female fans here in the village, some of the sometimes show up at my door without being asked! Maybe it's because I'm a real gentleman towards female dogs (and also neutered male dogs). Maybe I can prove that to you: Do we get to know each other?
